Okay, so after you wander through the Streets of Yesterday, you meander to an area called, “The Heritage of the Sea.” It starts with some pictures of different kinds of whales and a little model of a giant octopus taking down a whale. However, the House on the Rock is just NOT that boring. Suddenly, you walk through a door and see this:
That whale is taller than the Statue of Liberty when standing on its tail!
The room is 4 floors of seeing this… display…. from all angles. The walls are filled with model ships and other nautical themed stuff. Fortunately, there is a bypass for those that don’t really care to see all 4 levels of boats, knots, and other sea related items. Sadly, Alex Jordan passed away just before this room was completed. There is a picture of him standing in the mouth of the whale.
